Yesterday the Vatican announced new structures to absord disaffected Anglicans.
Due to many requests received by the Vatican a new canonical structure has been developed to assist Anglicans to join the Catholic Church.

On Saturday evening internationally renowned pianist Jin Ju performed several compositions on seven different pianos to appreciate the evolution of the instrument. Pope Benedict XVI went on to say ” music is a part of all cultures, accompanying all peoples….music arouses emotions difficult to communicate…music can become a prayer”.

After several questions , some have asked about the symbolism associated with eight and some references made in some recent recordings. After some research I have discovered even further significance to the number eight.Throughout histoy the eight pointed star has often been associated with the symbolism of the regeneration of man. Jesus was given His name at the time of His circumcision when He was eight days old. Often in many Christian traditions today children are given their names at baptism. The octagonal shape of the baptismal font base and even in St. John the Lateran ( San Giovanni in Laterano) the baptistry is known for its octagonal shape and the eight porphyry columns. In the cupola of the baptistry are eight oil paintings and in the center is a depiction of a dove, symbol of the Holy Spirit. St. John the Lateran Basilica was dedicated to the Savior on November 9, 318 and is also dedicated to John the Baptist and John the Evangelist.
