Addictions to Adoration
Yesterday provided an exciting higher education classroom filled with an extraordinary teacher and a few of us students.
We all have to ask ourselves the following questions:
What is the addict archetype?
Are you addicted to anything that impairs your true relationship with Divinity?
Are you bringing too much to the classroom with you?
Do you project your perceptions of your earthly parents onto your relationship with Divinity?
What arechetype is in your seventh house of relationships? Does this archetype represent how you relate to Divinity?
Are you addicted in anyway to outside adoration?
Is the actor archetype present in your life and spiritual life?
What is the magician archetype and how does it work in spiritual direction?
Are you addicted to your ego needs? Can you identify ego needs and desires?
Who,what or where are you directing your adoration?
Are you in a truthful relationship with Divinity?
Can you identify the trickster archetype, magician, and Holy Fool?
Can you consider the archetypal teachings of St. Francis of Assisi? Would you continue to teach only if heaven sent you the animals of the forest? What do your students represent to you?
This and more in my upcoming podcast The Myth of Fate and Destiny: Awakening from Spiritual Anesthesia.
